What Is Project Nano?
Project Nano is an interactive Virtual Reality educational game focused on teaching children the basics of clean energy and the science behind it.
We are mainly targeting children from grades 6 - 12. They need an understanding of the hardware, as well as basic fundamentals of science.
Ionization is the process of adding electrons to atoms, and the player shoots atoms with a beam of sunlight, hitting them with electrons.
The particles gain and lose electrons, and the players choose which atom to shoot to direct electrons into the battery attached to the solar panel to turn the light on.
The player shrinks down and enters a solar panel, where they are transported to a new world of atom grids and electrons. The player must help repair the solar panel they are in by "Ionizing" the silicon and boron particles in the grid.

Below are the mockups for the cards we designed
Game Rules and Card Back
-
Lay the cards face down in a 3x4 grid, and keep the remaining cards face down in an excess deck to the side.
-
Players can turn over two cards at a time
-
If the cards match, the player can take the pair.
-
If the cards do not match, it gets placed back into the grid face down.
-
As matching pairs are removed, new cards from the excess deck will be added to keep the total cards equal to 12.
-
If the excess deck is depleted, players can change the grid layout to remove clear spaces and add to the difficulty.
-
When all the cards are gone, The player with the most card pairs is the winner.
We needed to make the cards eye-catching and exciting. Something that stood out from Pursue Care's design while also being able to push its message. By utilizing bold colors and imagery that invokes mental health, we designed a deck of cards where each card could stand by itself as a sticker or shirt.
Motivational messages might be cliche, but they are used for a reason. By normalizing mental health and mental health, advocacy Pursue Care helps people get the treatment they need.
